This has caused some worry among fans, but Coach Prime has been upfront about it. He even challenged his players directly, asking them if they wanted to jump ship. He sternly addressed his team, asking, “Anybody else that wants to tap out?”  Soon after this warning, the team’s defensive back defied Coach Prime by entering the transfer portal. Many thought this daring move might have angered Coach Prime, but the coach showed his class by sending a warm goodbye message to the player’s mom on social media.  ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Following the recent player departures, families are expressing their gratitude to Coach Prime online. Cormani McClain’s mom did so earlier, and now Adam Hopkins’ mom has followed suit. Mama Hopkins publicly thanked Deion Sanders and the team for their support and guidance during her son’s time in Colorado. “Thank you coach @DeionSanders for this amazing opportunity; we are forever grateful. Wishing you and the Buffs a great season ..we will be still cheering you guys on!” she posted.   Much love and RESPECT. Let me know if u need us in any way. Let me know if u need us in any way. God bless u.” Deion’s sincere farewell message proves that he’s not burning bridges. He remains committed to helping Adam Hopkins find his best fit, showing his support for former players even after they’ve left the team. ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Over the past week, 18 Buffs players have entered the transfer portal. Hopkins became the 17th departure, creating a storm in the Boulder. He followed Cormani McClain, the team’s most coveted cornerback. However, like Hopkins’ mom, Cormani’s mom took to social media to express gratitude toward Coach Prime and his team. The coach responded this time with a heartfelt message saying, “I pray that all things work together for the good.” Even amidst these departures, Coach Prime genuinely cares for his players’ well-being. He also wished McClain success in finding a team that would hold him “accountable“ and support his goals. Now, he’s extending the same support to his former defensive back, who will also search for a new football home. Based on Coach Prime’s words, it looks like he might even help his players settle into a new, challenging team soon. Of course, Deion must simultaneously look to replace these talents with recruits.
